Join us for Abilities in Motion's 16th Annual Hands Across the Water Pledge-a-Thon, running July 15 to August 31, 2026!
Hands Across the Water is more than just a fundraiser, it's a community coming together to ensure that individuals of all abilities have the opportunity to experience the joy, freedom, and confidence that adaptive paddling provides.
Getting involved is easy! Register as an individual or create a team, then paddle throughout the campaign while raising pledges from your family, friends, coworkers, and community. Supporters can sponsor your journey with a donation to help you reach your personal fundraising goal. Don't want to paddle? You can still make a difference by sponsoring a participant or making a one-time donation in support of the campaign.
This year, our goal is to raise $2,000 to support Abilities in Motion's adaptive paddling programs. Every dollar raised helps us provide accessible equipment, trained volunteers, adaptive instruction, and unforgettable experiences for individuals with disabilities.
Whether you're paddling a canoe, kayak, dragon boat, stand up paddle board, or simply cheering from the shore, your support helps create a more inclusive community where everyone has the opportunity to get out on the water.
