Hands Across the Water is the annual fundraiser for Abilities In Motion. As a non-profit organization, AIM heavily relies on the support of generous sponsors, grants and donations. Having raised money for the deck and dock lift last year, our goal this year is to raise $25,000 to help cover the costs of a boathouse so that we can continue to provide adaptive paddling for people with varying abilities and their family and friends.
This annual event has become one of the most important fundraising activities of the year for Abilities in Motion. Not only does Hands Across the Water help raise funds to support our mission, but it also brings together our paddlers, their family and friends, as well as our sponsors and supporters for a fun-filled day of outdoor activity.
Paddlers raised money by collecting donations or pledges for their efforts. We now use Gifttool so paddlers can support us either in Earl Rowe Provincial Park or at a location of their choosing. Could be the local river. The Hands Across The Water fundraising information will be announced at the beginning of June.
We look forward to seeing you on July 23nd, 2017.
